She pushed us to refinish our floors, and was a huge help to Doug in getting it done. Seriously...I got home from work and she was down on her hands and knees with a sheet of sand paper making sure it was perfect. Every time she visits, she rolls her eyes at the fact that I still have boxes that we need to unpack, but then she helps me find the perfect place for all that random little crap. The last time she visited, she had barely been here 5 minutes before she was in the back yard ripping ivy off our porch, chopping down trees, and raking stuff up.
Buying her presents for mothers day is never easy. She'd rather have a new axe to chop firewood than a piece of jewelry. While she likes flowers, she would rather have ones she can plant than put in a vase.
