What I love about blog world is that so many other bloggers share this love. The awesome Kelli at She Crab Soup is one of those bloggers.
Kelli: Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows of course, it's the one book I couldn't wait to read. Even though I knew it was the end I was dying to find out what happened. I was also so thankful that J.K. Rowling included a glimpse into the future, I would have been a little upset if we were all left wondering.
Margaret: I have to agree with Kelli on this one. Doug actually preordered this book for me for my birthday, and we went to the bookstore at midnight to pick it up. Let me add that we actually left the bar to go to the bookstore to pick it up. And then I carried it around with me all night and we spent the next two days fighting over who got to read it first.
While I was obviously sad about the characters that died, I absolutely loved how the story ended. So many of the plot lines came together and tied up nicely. And that final battle? Goosebumps. Every time.
Kelli: I guess I'd have to go with Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire, things started to get serious and everyone started growing up. I also love all the special effects associated with the Triwizard Tournament.
Margaret: I think my favorite movie was Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban. I love the storyline of Sirius and Harry, and I really liked Professor Lupin. The whole time turner thing was super cool. Plus Hermione slaps Malfoy at one point, and that's awesome.
Kelli: Severus Snape! You never knew until the very end if he was the good guy or the bad guy, besides how can you not like a guy that held on to love for so long!?! Anytime someone says "always" I think of Snape.
Margaret: So so hard to choose.Top of the list is Professor McGonagall. That woman is a total badass. And I love when she gets excited over little things, like how awesome Harry is on a broom or of course using the spell that brings all the statues alive.
Another badass woman?? Molly Weasley. That scene where she goes crazy on Bellatrix...SO AWESOME. Pretty sure I cheered when we saw it in the theater....and cheer every time I've watched it after that.
Sorry for all the GIFs for favorite character...but these three scenes are some of the absolute BEST ones ever!
Now don't forget to go over and say hi to Kelli. Especially if you live in a state where winter has lasted forever like me, and want to drool over gorgeous photos of the beach!!
