Friday night, we headed over to a friends house for dinner. Which then turned into drinks and long talks about everything under the sun- finances and babies and houses and dogs. The boys were in the basement playing darts. The ladies were snuggled on the couches with the pup. It was just a much needed evening with a little bit of girl time.

Saturday, those extra few drinks stuck me on the couch for a good chunk of the day. Doug is convinced we just need to have ginger ale delivered from Amazon on a regular basis. After kicking that hangovers butt with some McDs and a bloody mary, I headed out on a walk with my friend Ashley and her dog. We wanted to take advantage of our one warm-ish day. And by warm, I mean like 38. Again- it was wonderful to just get to hang out and chat with her. We hang out on a weekly basis- but always with our husbands. And while we love our husbands, I miss my girl time with her. She was my roommate all through college, so we always had girl time!
I came home to a postcard from the amazing Rachael. Nothing like a postcard from HP World with some positive words after a rough week. So thank you lady!! You're the best.

Saturday night, I hung out with my brother and nieces for a while. Best quote of the night? "Dancing by yourself is hard. But I'm pretty good at it." Three year olds are the best.
Woke up to yet another snow storm on Sunday- thankfully only 3 inches when they were originally calling for up to 12 for the weekend. After a workout and a shower, I happily poured myself another bloody mary for the first Happy Hour Brunch Hangout with some amazing bloggers. While blog talk is always fun, this hangout was just as much joking and laughing and telling jokes. And I loved it.
