A Week of Slacking

Monday, I had a horrible headache and stomachache all day. So sleeping on the couch all afternoon and watching House Hunters trumped going to the gym.

On Tuesday, I was feeling super unmotivated. But I dragged my butt to the gym....and realized as I was walking in that I didn't have my shoes. So I went home and drank a beer.

Yesterday, I was starving ALL damn day. Not even kidding. On the way to work, all I wanted was a damn donut. And then my co-worker brought in two boxes of donuts. I ate two (donuts. Not boxes). Plus a few cookies. And chili for lunch. But I knew I was going to the gym last night, and I was ready for a good Pilates class.

But you know what happens when you eat two donuts and are expecting an easy workout?

Yeah, not that.

I showed up to a class that was high intensity cardio, weights and abs. And as my stomach was cramping up during the third set of jumping jacks, I was seriously regretting that 2nd donut.

So just remember, when you take 5 days off from the gym and eat too many donuts, you will get your ass kicked.
