More Than Cousins

I just got out of a board meeting. Meaning I just want to pound my head against a wall. So it's going to be short and sweet today.

Yesterday, my little 6 foot cousin and best friend turned 26. She's about a year and a half younger than me. We grew up like sisters and have always been best friends. From our younger shenanigans of putting my parents car in gear and it rolling down the driveway into a tree, learning every single word to the opening cheer from Bring It On and coordinating a dance (obviously), playing on rival soccer teams in high school, attending the same college for one year, standing by each other at our weddings only three months apart last year.

A little throwback to the days of dressing up as ballerinas.
I even let her wear my blue tutu....obviously a big sacrifice because I rarely took it off.
Even now, I don't see her nearly enough but no matter how long we go without seeing one another or talking to each other, we're still best friends. She is still one of my favorite people in the world who can make me laugh harder than almost anyone else. We have so many wonderful memories together and I know there will be so many more. I can't wait for us to have kids at the same time and raise them together and hope that like us, they will be more than cousins. They will be best friends.

Love you Abigail Rose!!
