Linking up with Amber and Erin for more #12daysofblogging! |
Growing up, we had the tradition where we got to pick out an ornament every year as part of our gift. On top of that ornament, my grandma would give every grand child an ornament with the date and our initials on it. When I finally had a home of my own, this helped to figure out which ornaments in my parents 12 boxes were mine. Now, as our own little family, Doug and I love to look for ornaments that represent us as a couple.

sorry for my super high quality iPhone pics! |
2. This year's ornament (which are also family wide Christmas presents) from the Etsy site Bella Bride Creations. I had included this site in my Christmas present vlog a few weeks ago, but I will say again that they were awesome! I ordered 7 ornaments in the morning, they were shipped the same day, and I received them the following day.
3. My glass rose always has to have the perfect spot in front of a few lights so it picks up the colors and is super sparkly. My middle name is Rose and this is another ornament that I've had for many, many years.
4. These bride and groom ornaments were a wedding present from one of my coworkers and I love that they remind me of our wedding!
Not included: a blown glass beer mug, our pickle (Thanks Megan! And if you don't know the story about the pickle ornament, check it out), and Doug's personal favorites- a set of superhero ornaments which have to be placed based on who they are ("Thor can go at the top because he can fly. But The Hulk needs to be at the bottom." Yes, this was a real conversation we had).
