I've voiced my pure hatred of all things winter before. But I don't think you really understand. I really really hate winter. And with the second snow of the year under my belt, here is why.
1. The coldness. Seriously- it's just really damn cold. My toes are constantly numb. My nose is frozen. My fingers are super icy. Basically exactly like this.
2. The snow. Now don't get me wrong, if I'm curled up inside under a blanket with a few bottles of red wine and no need to get behind the wheel of a car? Then I love it.
But driving in the snow? Makes me really unhappy. If you read this post during Blogtember, you'll remember that the first time I drove in the snow, I wrecked my car straight in a swamp. That, in addition to the fact that my dad is a super stressful driver in the snow, has made me terrified to drive in the snow. So, I don't do it. Because I know I suck at it...and I also know it's more dangerous to drive super slow in crappy weather. On shitty snowy days, I take the train/bus. And I love it.
3. The complete darkness when I go to work in the morning. The complete darkness when I leave work in the afternoon. It all sucks.
But don't think I'm a total grinch. I fricken love Thanksgiving and Christmas with all my heart. Traditions make me a happy happy girl. But we'll leave that for another post.
Stay warm!!
