This weekend, I was visiting a friend. A friend I have known for most of my life, but haven't considered a friend until last year. She is best friends with my cousin (since 2nd grade), and even though I knew her all along, we just never clicked.
Until last year when my cousin got married and we were both in the wedding party. Bachelorette party one weekend, wedding the next, amazing friends ever since. I visited her in Chicago back in May, she came to Cleveland last month, and when the last minute trip this weekend came up? I couldn't say no!
I'm sad that it took us so long to become true friends, but so so happy that we are now. And because she actually reads my blog, hi Rachel! Love you and thanks for a fantastic weekend!
Now onto a weekend recap. Which is going to be kind of lame, only because I was having too much fun and forgot to take any real pictures besides booze and food.
I left after work Thursday night with my friend Ashley, who is one of my best friends from college (and who got married in the Chicago burbs a month ago). Friday was spent with her and her mother- worked out (on vacation??? WHO AM I?) and shopping non-stop! That evening I headed in to the city to meet up with Rachel and spent Friday night through Sunday morning with her.
