Gennifer Flowers is about to start writing a column for the archive site of the late Bob Guccione, and she's promoting it with an interview in the Daily Mail. It's led to a lot of heavy breathing on the right because of this:
When rumours surfaced recently of an affair between Hillary Clinton and her transition office chief, Huma Abedin, 37, Gennifer was not surprised....You think that quote is going to lead to a Clinton defeat at the polls?
Gennifer said: 'I don't know Huma or the Weiners. I just know what Bill told me and that was that he was aware that Hillary was bisexual and he didn't care. He should know.
'He said Hillary had eaten more p***y than he had.'
Well, it already failed once. You see, that's not a new allegation from Flowers. It's not even a new quote.
Flowers used it eighteen years ago in her book Passion and Betrayal, which, Google tells me, was previewed in the August 22, 1995, issue of The Advocate:
It didn't defeat Bill Clinton a year later. It won't defeat Hillary three years from now.
