Getting Old

Lately, the husband and I have been talking about how our weekend habits are slowly shifting from going out and getting crazy at the bar to staying home and enjoying game nights. Now, don't get me wrong- we still drink as much as when we went out (as stated in my post yesterday)- but we're a lot happier drinking at home with our friends while playing Cards Against Humanity or cornhole than we are sitting at a bar and yelling at each other over the music.

Now, I realize this makes me sound old. And I feel old! But I'm really ok with that.

Yesterday, this buzzfeed article kept coming up on my Facebook feed....30 signs you're almost 30. I turned 27 two months ago, and so many of these are hitting close to home.

My top favorites?

You get carded and your first instinct is "AWESOME."I look like I'm 19 still...so it's kind of annoying. Especially when my husband, who is 6 months younger than me doesn't get carded and I do. Or my cousin who is 4 years younger than me doesn't get carded, but they won't serve me because I don't have my ID.

You start a story with “when I was in college” and realize that was 10 years ago.

You’ve experienced the dreaded TWO-DAY hangover
Unfortunately, this did happen when I was in college too...but it's so much worse now!

And this seriously is one of the funniest things I have ever seen.

And of course, we have the awesome parody of T. Swifts 22...32. And I find myself leaving way more towards 32 than 22.

Can I just go back to college now?
