Welcome Baby :)

Welcome to the world, Nora Catherine LaVigne! Niece #2 was born on Sunday, June 9 at 11:46 pm after a long long day of labor. My poor sister-in-law! But both mom and baby are healthy and doing well. And at 8 pounds, 13 ounces and 22 inches long- the little one isn't really so little. 

I spent my Sunday with my mom and niece #1- keeping her entertained while her parents were in the hospital waiting for her little sister to come into the world.

We went to bed on Sunday with no baby, but woke up in the middle of the night to a number of texts and photos welcoming the new baby into the world. I went back to sleep and woke up in the morning to a call from niece #1 proudly announcing that she was a Big Sister. So I took off work for the day to spend a couple hours at the hospital snuggling with the babe and occupying the toddler (she was running a little wild).

Another little one who has already permanently
worked her way into my heart. Perfect.

Can't even handle the cuteness happening right now.

While we're all so so excited for Nora's arrival, Caroline is definitely unsure how to react. When we first took her to the hospital- she ignored her parents and the baby for about half an hour. Even after that- she only showed minimal interest in her sister. This will probably change when everyone is back home. I guess that just means more visits to 'Margy and Dougy.'
