Cabin fever!

Seriously. Why is spring still in hiding? We had that one glorious warm day last week, and now its been snow and freezing rain and sleet and nastiness for the last week (and for the full forecast looking forward). As I discussed in this post already, winter is just one contributing factor to my antsy feeling these days. 

I thankfully do have a few shining lights at the end of this cold, rainy tunnel.

Next weekend is a bachelorette party for a close friend. While it's only in Columbus, and chances are the weather will still suck, at least I'm getting out of town and spending an evening with the girls.

There are three weddings coming up in the next two months, kicking off the 2013 wedding season. Which of course, I am super excited about! Year #3 with 7 plus weddings...I love it!! And it's so much more relaxing now that our wedding is over and we can just watch and enjoy the weddings of our friends without thinking about things we should/should not do at our own. 

And most importantly, a girls weekend birthday trip to CHICAGO!! I'm incredibly excited for this one. My birthday happens to be Cinco de Mayo- which is another great excuse to drink, right? A friend of mine, whose birthday is the 3rd and who lives in Chicago, decided we should do this. So we each gathered a group of friends and I am just so excited! I fly in on Friday afternoon; we're renting a trolley for a bar crawl on Saturday; my actual birthday is Sunday; and I fly back to Cleveland on Monday. So nice long weekend- with hopefully beautiful weather- and an awesome chance to catch up with the girls!

Can't wait to be reunited with this girl!

And of course, can't leave you without one look into this past weekend. Friday night, we celebrated a friends birthday the best way possible. With karaoke and mustache straws, of course.
