My cousin's wedding

So this is a little late- but I realized I never posted a recap of my cousin's wedding! My cousin is my best friend in the world. She is a few years younger than me, and a few inches feet taller than me, and we have been incredibly close our entire lives. She was my maid-of-honor, I was her #2 (I only say this because she told me multiple times that if she didn't have a sister, I would have been her MOH. It's ok- my other cousin gave a much better speech than I ever could have!)

This corny quote has always been a favorite of ours- Cousin's by chance, Friends by choice.

The wedding took place in Ashland, though my cousin's family lives in Wooster. So my lovely husband dropped me off there on Friday afternoon and headed to my parents house for quality family time with the in-laws while we did pre-wedding stuff. Unfortunately she had a bit of a snag with her marriage license- seriously, what is it with marriage licenses??  That was all cleared up, but while her and her future husband were out running errands, we (my other cousin and two other bridesmaids, plus the parents of the groom) set up the centerpieces, hung Christmas lights, etc.. at the reception site.

After a frantic afternoon at the reception site, we had a whole 2 minutes to change for the rehearsal and we were on our way.

It ended up being a late night, and with the cold from hell plaguing me, and a long drive home with a confusing stop for gas (there are two separate pumps for regular and diesel...), I finally made it to bed and crashed like a baby.

Up Saturday bright and early, a gorgeous snowy day, and we were off to get our hair done. A few snags in the process, but were all able to relax a little while the bride got her hair done at a different salon.

A quick meal of bagels, and we were off to Ashland to get ready! They had a huge bridal party- but we all got along so well, so it made for a great time! A gorgeous wedding, beautiful pictures (in a weight room- they met through track and field, and outside where the snow was still falling), a fabulous reception. Overall it was a fantastic weekend! And now for the photo over load.

First dance for the beautiful bride and groom!

Side note: After spending two weekends in a row with the girl, and traveling all over together, we became great friends! And I'm already planning a trip to Chicago to see her!

I love her so much. Such a beautiful bride and person.
The cousins- Love these people so much
Looking at all of these makes me kind of sad because two days after the wedding, the bride moved to Oklahoma where her husband has a job. And I don't know when I'm going to see her again *sad face*
