A good year

2012 was pretty much an awesome year. It will definitely be one to go down in the books as one of the best years of my life. Getting married will do that to ya. 2012 will always be the year that I said 'I do' to my husband and that is still a thought that makes me smile. But this post isn't just about how awesome 2012 was because I got married. There were plenty of other amazing things that happened this year!

We attended 6 weddings (7 if you count our own) of some of our amazing friends/family/coworkers. Not only did we attend 6 weddings, but I was in 2 of them (the last two pictures) and it was truly an honor to be apart of the weddings of two of my favorite people!

My niece continued to grow and develop her personality. And I have loved every minute of it. As much as I sometimes think how much I would love getting out of Cleveland and just moving somewhere completely new, living less than a mile from her (and my soon-to-be new niece or nephew!!!) is just too amazing.

I figured you didn't need too many pictures of her since there is normally a photo on every post!
We spent time with some of our best friends- from birthdays, to holidays (you know...the fun ones- St. Patty's Day, Cinco de Mayo, Halloween), to our Tuesday night dinner nights with two of our closest couple friends, to concerts (Kenny Chesney and Florence and the Machine), to countless weekends and nights playing games (oh Cards Against Humanity- what would we have done without you this year). It has been pretty awesome.

All the events leading up to the wedding- two bridal showers, bachelorette party, bachelor party (with no photographic evidence), and the rehearsal dinner- made for a pretty amazing summer. We were able to spend even more time with our friends and family...and it didn't hurt that we also got a lot of awesome presents!

Bottom right- rehearsal dinner with some of my bridesmaids

And of course- we got married. I've obviously posted quite a bit about the wedding- but it does happen to be a main focus of 2012...and it was awesome.

So here's to an amazing 2012...and looking forward to another fabulous year in 2013! We already have 7 more weddings on the calendar, the birth of our new niece/nephew, hopefully exciting things at work for both of us, even more hopefully a few vacations and trips, and more time with those we love the most.
