The weekend was kicked off early when I finally made the upgrade on Thursday to an IPhone. And we're not just talking about an upgrade from one smart phone to another. We're talking about the upgrade from a 4 and a half year old flip phone...you know this one. The one that is water proof/shock proof/dust proof- indestructible.

Friday night, after a long day of work and spending time with a group of kids at a TV station, we went out to dinner with a group of friends at a new restaurant in Cleveland Heights on Coventry. We are regulars on Coventry due to some close friends living there and it being the closest place to really go out. However, we're insanely sick of the food at Panini's and the Winking Lizard. Now I love a good Panini sandwich as much as the next person and the wings at the Lizard hit the spot on occasion, but these are the main places we go at least once a week.
So we were excited to see a new restaurant- Burgers N Beers coming in to the neighborhood in the old McNulty's location. Good burgers, huge selection of beer, delish sweet potato fries. I'm excited to go back and try one of the stuffed burgers. I can definitely see us becoming regulars.
Saturday was spent running errands (whoa combined bank account!), Christmas shopping, crafting shopping (20% off at Jo Ann- awesome), and watching football. Sunday was full of grocery shopping, more crafting, yelling at the Brown's and making a fantastic dinner of short ribs...mmm.
Happy for a 3 day week and a long Thanksgiving weekend with family! And hopefully a Bobcat win!
