Getting ready

Getting ready for my wedding was kind of awesome. It was a long, relaxing morning at my parents house. My hair stylist came to the house to do all our hair (she also happens to be sisters with our photographer). The mimosa's were flowing, 90s pop Pandora station was on full blast. While everything was a little hectic outside with my mom and all her sisters plus a few more arranging flowers and getting ready to transport them to the reception hall, inside was happy and calm. One of my bridesmaids (who has already been a bridesmaid 100 12 times) remarked that I was the most calm bride she had ever seen.

After all the hair and makeup was done, I wanted to get some detail shots outside, as well as photos with all my bridesmaids. Instead of boring you with individual shots, here is one of my favorite group shots. It showcases the changing leaves perfectly! My parents live on top of a hill surrounded by woods- so it was a perfect location to get some gorgeous fall shots.
Part of their gift were the cute Bridesmaid/Maid of Honor tank tops
I also had been given a Bride tanktop

my bouquet (yes again, I love it that much) and my gorgeous shoes!
At this point, my mom had finally gotten home from dropping off flowers at the reception and getting her hair done. I had her put her dress on for more photo ops- even though she wasn't leaving for a few more hours.

It was so relaxing and wonderful to spend my morning at home. While the background of these pictures don't feature gorgeous hotel room (instead the messy basement where 6 girls had slept the night before), it was such a relief to just hang out at home and not rush around to different locations.

Happy and relaxed :)
