Bachelorette weekend

Saturday morning, I headed down to Athens for 7 of my favorite ladies!! It was by all means not an all inclusive group of my friends, but it was the perfect number for a night our in one of my favorite places in the world :) Even though I was pretty much the only common tie between the group of 8, everyone got along fabulously and we had the best day/night!

We arrived in Athens around noon-ish, and unable to check into our hotel early, headed to Courtside for pizza and pitchers. I have spent plenty of time sitting on the Courtside patio enjoying a pizza and pitchers of Blue Moon (for some reason, it just always tastes better there...), and this day was no different. Plenty of laughs and drinks while we people watched on Court street and watching rhythmic gymnastics.

Post lunch, we headed back to the hotel for pool time- which just turned into us sitting by the pool playing Cards Against Humanity (think of how you always wanted Apples to Apples to be...and that's what this game is. Dirty, hilarious and awesome). The weather wasn't fully cooperating, but no rain, so we just enjoyed being outside with a few bottles of margs.

After getting ready go to, and opening presents (I got a full set of Cleveland Browns underwear. so awesome), we were ready to go!
My full ensemble- with a crown and sash,
as well as my blinged out mason jar goblet (best MOH ever!)
I had put a strict ban on any penis paraphernalia for the night...and while my ladies weren't thrilled, they followed the rules!
Walking up town!

J Bar...originally known as The Junction.
And considering my feet no longer stick to the floor, I see it as an improvement
Paw Purrs...though about 2 hours late for Prime Time
We basically just did a mini shuffle all night and hit up our favorite bars...plus a few others just to get the experience (J Bar and newly remodeled Pigskin? What? weird).

While there was plenty (PLENTY) of drinking, we all handled ourselves well and had an absolutely wonderful night full of dancing and singing and one too many shots (even though I'm fully against shots, by the end of the night- it was pure shot monster). We ended the evening with our drunk food of choice (mine being a hot dog with bacon/coleslaw and chilli cheese fries. O'Betty's- you complete me) and making our way back to the hotel.

Sunday (and Monday for that matter) were definitely a little rough. Just can't drink like I used it! But it just made me that much more excited for the wedding...to have all these ladies back together again!!

This weekend will be Bridal Shower #1, as well as the Mr.'s bachelor party. Which us girls are just using as an excuse to get together and go out (again). And with a possibility of Thunder from Down Under....it's already looking like it will be another great time
