Why I suck at blogging...

Seriously. This is ridiculous. I have no good excuse for why I haven't blogged in like 2 weeks. My weekends have been crazy and busy, my week has been slow and boring. Last weekend we were at a wedding in New Jersey and spent a day in NYC. All this week, I have been working on random crafty wedding things. All great things to blog about, but nothing.

So no excuses, and I'll try to catch you up!

Awhile ago, I blogged about how I have had amazing coworkers who have become amazing friends. This past weekend, we were able to celebrate the wedding of one of those friends. The fiance and I headed to New Jersey bright and early on Thursday morning. Since we were driving all the way to Jersey, we figured we would make a weekend out of it and head into New York City for a day since neither of us have been there before.

We arrived Thursday after what felt like an eternity driving through western PA. After checking into our hotel, we met up with the couple and the brides parents for dinner. It was great to catch up with them before the wedding (and meet the groom for the first time).

Friday, we decided to go into NYC. Neither of us had been to the city before- so it was definitely an experience. One day wasn't enough of course, but we still had an amazing time!

And Sunday...we drove. ALL day. so not fun. I ended up having to take a sick day Monday because I felt like complete death.

Congrats to Ashley and Eric!! A whole week of being married- and they spent it relaxing on a beach. so jealous.
