So I try to keep this blog balanced so it isn't all wedding craziness. Which is hard...because we are in full wedding planning mode, and with all my friends getting engaged and planning weddings- it is seriously all we talk about.
This weekend, the fiance and I headed to the good old HC to do some more wedding stuff. Like meet with the priest and the florist...and buy ridiculous Hawaiian shirt postcard stamps because it was all they had.
I'm seriously excited about flowers. My mom has always had a huge flower garden, and there are almost always fresh flowers in my parents house. Even in the middle of winter, my dad will go to the florist (same one who we talked to) and she makes gorgeous bouquets. So here is my flower inspiration board...
Yes...there will be sunflowers. Obviously. And my adorable flower girls (all 3 of them!) will be carrying huge sunflowers like that. They will look awesome.
After spending a lovely weekend at home with my parents, brother and niece (sis-in-law was having a relaxing spa weekend) and dinner with one of my bridesmaids and her parents, we headed back to Cleveland. A Monday off thanks to President's Day was an awesome way to start my week. Especially with gorgeous weather and a shopping trip to Aurora Outlet mall with my old roommate. Again- LOTS of wedding talk as her wedding is a few months after mine, and I'm a bridesmaid for her.
This week...more wedding stuff. Surprised? Our Save the Date postcards should be here any day now (like today...or I'll be crabby), so it will be time to address/stamp (yes with the ugly Hawaiian shirt stamps)/send.
