This past weekend, Mother Nature decided to be kind of an asshole. Yes, I know it's February...but when the forecast is 10 days of sunshine, followed by ONE day of rain/snow/sleet, followed by ten more days of sun, I get mad. Because that ONE day of crap is when we were supposed to take our engagement pictures. And I could have handled snow...let's be honest, pictures in the snow can be super cute. But rain sleet...not so cool.
The plan had been to head to Athens. What better place to take our engagement pictures than the place we met and spent four amazing years? And if we just happened to stop at O'Bettys/the CI/Big Mamas while we were down there, I would have been ok with it... But the weather was a bitch. Thankfully, our lovely photographer (also a long-time friend) is awesome and was willing to reschedule our Athens trip...as well as take a few pictures in Columbus so our trip wasn't a complete waste.
