So I promise I'm not going to turn this into a blog dedicated to wedding planning. The planning will obviously make an appearance- partially because it's kind of the main thing I think about lately. But also because the fiance is going to get sick of listening to me talk about all the crazy little details in about 2 weeks (and yes I know we've only been engaged for a week and a half and I may be jumping the gun a little).
But after all that- this will be a somewhat wedding related post. Because I'm going to try on wedding dresses tonight! This is really the first wedding related activity- and it is early to do this, but the $99 dress sale at David's Bridal is currently going on, so figured it was as good a place to start as any!
While I seriously have NO idea what I want in a wedding dress (I have seen so many different styles and shapes that I think are gorgeous- I just don't know what will look good on me), I have fallen in love with one....that is a tad (and by tad, I mean excessively) out of my price range.
But come on, the back on this dress is AMAZING! (Sottero and Midgely Billie- though Reese by Maggie Sottero has a very very similar style) |
In all actuality though, I'm trying to stay in a pretty low price range (hence the $99 dress sale!). The current plan is to get married where I grew up...which as previously mentioned is in the middle of nowhere. A crazy fancy, expensive dress is not necessary.
These are all from David's Bridal and in my price range. But you see what I mean when I say I have NO idea what I want? |
