#12daysofblogging prompt today- Favorite Christmas music? No brainer here.
Bing Crosby. All day. Everyday.
The End.
While I won't actually end the post here, I will stand by my point that Christmas music by Bing Crosby is the only Christmas music that I will happily listen to from Thanksgiving to Christmas. Something about his voice...just gets me every time.
It doesn't hurt that all Bing Christmas songs are the ones I associate with my childhood in such a strong way. I can just close my eyes when listening to Bing and remember decorating the tree in my childhood home, drinking hot chocolate, laughing as we pulled out each of our ornaments and remembering the story behind them.
And of course, this song.
Of which I have the best memories of dancing around our kitchen, my feet on my dads feet while he twirled me around the room singing.
I just have such fond, wonderful, loving memories when I hear Bing Crosby music (which is also why I will watch White Christmas and Holiday Inn at least 12 times in the month of December). I inevitably will get sick of hearing Christmas music...but not Bing. Never Bing.
